The spread used for the daily readings is based loosely on the
Four Card Reading developed by Avia Venefica at
Tarot Teachings. There are, however, some differences. These are the positions and their meanings as I interpret them.
Four Card Reading
Environment
This position encompasses the self, the situation, and the world around you.
Unknown
The Unknown position refers to unexpected events and knowledge that may come into play today.
Known
The Known position refers to things that you know have an effect on you -- what you expect to happen and what you plan to do.
Action
This card refers to actions you can take or things you can do to advance your goals today.
As you can see, this reading is specifically designed to help you evaluate where you are today, what unknown factors may come into play, your expectations of the day and the actions you can take today to move you toward your ultimate goals. It is not a divinatory spread. Its purpose is to help you realize your current position and bring your life closer to the ideal life you want to be living.
